Please read this information before using MilkStorage.
MilkStorage is not a medical service. Label every bag with the pumping date and time. Always check the storage conditions and storage duration yourself before using the milk. MilkStorage is a tracking aid: its calculations and reminders do not replace your own checks and may be delayed or unavailable.
Information tool, not medical advice
MilkStorage is an organizational tool for recording breast milk storage. We do not provide medical advice and do not claim medical expertise.
For questions about breast milk handling, storage conditions, expiration, feeding, or your child’s health, consult a qualified healthcare professional and follow the guidance applicable where you live.
Check every bag and container
Write the pumping date and time directly on each breast milk bag or container. The physical label is the essential reference if a notification is delayed, unavailable, incorrect, or the service has a technical issue.
Before using milk, independently check the label, the actual storage conditions, the container, the storage duration, and any applicable professional or public-health guidance. When in doubt, do not rely on the application alone.
Reminders are optional assistance
Reminders, calculations, and push notifications are convenience features. They can be delayed, suppressed by device settings, unavailable offline, or affected by browser, operating system, network, or service failures.
You remain in control of your stock and responsible for monitoring it. In particular, you must not rely solely on a reminder or calculation to determine whether milk is safe to use or whether stock has expired.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for maintaining labels and storage conditions, and for decisions made using the application. To the extent permitted by applicable law, MilkStorage is not liable for loss, spoilage, expiry, or use of milk resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, delayed, or incorrect data or notifications.
Nothing in this notice limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
